Port Tampa Tree Lighting to Feature Henry Plant

Dr. Kelly Reynolds, professor of living history, will bring his portrayal of Henry Plant to the Port Tampa Tree Lighting ceremony on Saturday, December 9th. Join your Port Tampa City neighbors in a free celebration of the holidays, and take a look at the fabulous renewal of the Spanish American War Memorial Park. The fun begins at 4:00PM and continues until dark. Study your Port Tampa trivia for a chance to win prizes, enjoy some cookies and punch while a students from Robinson High School and Westshore Elementary perform seasonal favorites, visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus as well as local firefighters. This is also a chance to vote for your favorite giant Christmas card.
