Man Dies After Several Gunshot Wounds

TAMPA – A man who was shot multiple times in the upper body Sunday night has died.

Tedric Dewayne Maynard, 25, of Tampa was shot in the 7500 block of South Morton Street near West Richardson Avenue, according to police.

Tampa General Hospital spokeswoman Ellen Fiss said Maynard has died, but she couldn’t say when because of medical privacy laws.
