Parks and Rec Spending $250,000 on Port Tampa Park
Improvements to the Southwest Port Tampa Park, noted by Councilman Dingfelder at the forum at the Kwane Doster center last week, have begun. New fencing around the park and the ball fields across the street, sidewalks in the park, new concrete pads under the bleachers, repair and painting of the shelters, engineered mulch under the playground equipment and a new parking area are all planned. The park is located between the southernmost ends of Elliot and Morton Streets.
